The Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Welcomes New Students of Cohort 2025

On the afternoon of October 6, 2025, at Room A301 – Campus 1, Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting successfully organized the “Welcoming Ceremony for New Students of Cohort 2025” for the 2025–2026 academic year. The event is considered one of the Faculty’s meaningful and traditional activities, aiming to welcome the new generation of students and help them quickly adapt to the University’s dynamic, friendly, and collaborative learning environment.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the University Board of Rectors, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Faculty’s leadership, including Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy – Dean, Dr. Nguyen Van Hai – Vice Dean, together with the Faculty’s lecturers, academic advisors, and members of the Youth Union and Student Association. Notably, the event welcomed more than 400 new students from three majors: Accounting, Finance and Banking, and Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

The program commenced with vibrant musical performances and interactive mini-games organized by the Faculty’s Youth Union, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere that strengthened connections between new and senior students. Following this, representatives of the Faculty’s leadership delivered welcome remarks, congratulating the new students on officially becoming members of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting family, while sharing insights on study orientation, personal development, and career opportunities in the future.

During the session, lecturers and administrative staff introduced the Faculty’s organizational structure, academic programs, student research initiatives, internship opportunities, and various academic clubs and student activities. Through these introductions, the new students gained a clearer understanding of the Faculty’s educational environment and its commitment to comprehensive student development.

At the conclusion of the program, participants took group photos to capture memorable moments of their first day at university. The event took place in an atmosphere of joy and warmth, reflecting the unity and close bond between faculty members and students.

In his closing remarks, Dr. Nguyen Van Hai – Vice Dean, emphasized: “The welcoming ceremony is not only a greeting but also an opportunity for new students to experience the spirit of unity, responsibility, and academic aspiration of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. We hope that our students will continue to make consistent efforts, proactively acquire new knowledge, and actively participate in academic and social activities to become talented, confident, and globally adaptive graduates.”

The Welcoming Ceremony for New Students of Cohort 2025 concluded in a cheerful and enthusiastic atmosphere, marking the beginning of an exciting new academic year. The event once again affirmed the University’s educational philosophy of “connection – practicality – holistic development”, which Lac Hong University has continuously pursued throughout its growth and development journey.
