LHU and HCMUE strengthen ties to enhance educational quality

On the morning of March 25, 2025, LHU warmly welcomed and worked with a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City University of Education (HCMUE), aiming to foster experience exchange and mutual learning in the application of tools for assessing and measuring program learning outcomes to enhance educational quality.

Welcoming the delegation were Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector; along with faculty members from the Office of Academic Affairs and the Office of Educational Testing and Quality Assurance. HCMUE was represented by Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Trung, Vice Rector; and faculty members as experts in educational  assessment and accreditation.

During the working session, representatives from both universities engaged in extensive discussions on outcome-based assessment, program management and accreditation, as well as solutions to improve teaching effectiveness. These exchanges not only allow both sides to learn from each other but also open up various opportunities for collaboration in scientific research, educational innovation, and curriculum development aligned with modern trends.

On the occasion, the HCMUE delegation had the opportunity to experience LHU's modern facilities, including laboratories, media rooms (studio), practice areas, and creative learning spaces. Additionally, they were introduced to research areas, extracurricular activity zones, and fitness areas, to provide students with a well-rounded learning environment.

This event not only strengthens the partnership between the two institutions but also tightens connections in higher education activities, paving the way for future strategic collaborations. Educational quality is the most important factor, and activities like this will contribute to building a strong foundation for training high-quality human resources that meet the increasing demands of society.
