MSc Le Huu Tho: Enthusiasm for the development of the Construction Industry at Lac Hong University

Born and raised in Bien Hoa, Dong Nai, MSc Le Huu Tho has spent over a decade teaching at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Lac Hong University. After graduating from HCMC University of Technology and starting as a teaching assistant, he quickly became one of the prestigious faculty and has been Head of the Road & Bridge Section since 2022.

Educational journey

Mr. Tho's educational journey began at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, where he completed the Road and Bridge Construction Engineer training program from 2005 to 2010. He did not stop there, he continued to improve his skills. knowledge with a Master's degree in Highway and City Road Construction, also at Polytechnic University, from 2011 to 2013. This period of time not only provided him with extensive professional knowledge but also honed research skills and future teaching career development.

Mission of education and innovation

Master Tho not only leads students through core subjects on soil mechanics, road design, road and construction construction on soft ground, but also focuses on applying advanced technology such as Plaxis 3D Foundation, BIM traffic Infrawork, Civil 3D into the teaching process. Under his leadership as Director of Huu Tho Construction Design Company, the company has successfully implemented many important design and construction projects, contributing to the infrastructure development of Dong Nai.
