At 19:00 on 4 August 2022, the Economic Law major of Lac Hong University organized an online talk show via the Zoom platform with the theme “Orientation for Studying Economic Law” at Lac Hong University, aiming to help Grade 12 students better understand the Economic Law major. Through the program, students could more easily approach and partially visualize the Economic Law field in order to choose a major that suits their abilities and orientation.
The program was attended by: MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong – Vice Dean of FAIE; MB Huynh Thi Nhu Hieu – Head of the Business and Commerce Division, together with lecturers representing FAIE; Mr. Lam Tien Loc – Specialist of the Center of Student Admissions and Public Relations; Ms. Tran Thi My Ngan – alumna of Cohort 2018; Mr. Bui Sy Tan Loc and MC Van Ry – students of Cohort 2020. The talk show also attracted a large number of Grade 12 students nationwide who aspire to study Economic Law.
At the beginning of the program, MB Ta Thi Thanh Huong provided an overview of the University’s history of establishment and introduced students to the University’s modern facilities, such as: all classrooms equipped with air conditioning; modern self-study rooms and a library with spacious environments that are ideal for group study. In addition, the University is equipped with a gym room for students to relax and improve their health after stressful class hours.
Next were valuable insights from MB Huynh Thi Nhu Hieu regarding the Economic Law training program at Lac Hong University, including the duration of study and annual competitions organized by the University to help students enhance their skills as well as acquire practical knowledge from the major. She also shared information about career opportunities and job positions that graduates of Economic Law can pursue in the future.
In addition, the program included a segment providing information to students interested in the Economic Law major at Lac Hong University about tuition fees as well as incentives upon enrollment, such as 1,800 scholarships, 3 months of free dormitory accommodation, free bus tickets for enrollment, and 1 year of free standard English speaking training.
The program continued with mini-games and an interactive Q&A session addressing students’ questions related to the theme “Orientation for Studying Economic Law.” Students and speakers shared useful and practical information such as the learning process at the University, opportunities to access practical knowledge during their studies, and employment opportunities after graduation. The purpose was to resolve students’ concerns so that they could confidently apply for admission to the Economic Law major.
It is hoped that the program has provided students who are still uncertain about choosing a major with additional information, enabling them to base their decisions on their abilities and select a field that suits them.
